SDL Podcast - Episode Artwork - Header.png

Jeannie Baldomero shares with us her story of growing up with a military dad, missing the affection of a father, and then conversely the importance of having a relationship with Christ and knowing his unconditional love.

She tells about how her experiences with pride, resentment, and bitterness shaped the way she lived for a long time and what happens when we place our expectations of unconditional love on imperfect people. Jeannie’s story of her desire for a father figure and a mended relationship point her to key truths and promises offered in the person of Jesus. When God made things clear for her, he offered ways to forgive and trust knowing that the work of the cross is enough to satisfy our deepest wounds and desires.
