This episode is part 1 of a 2 part series.

This week we invited Araceli Godoy, who is the outreach Pastor at Faro Church, to share her own story of growing up in a fatherless home. Araceli transparently dives into her experiences, covering the sometimes-messy nature of dealing with relationships. God created us uniquely, to find joy and healing in the midst of hurt and wrongs.

After coming to Christ at age 20, Araceli began to understand her need for forgiveness not only from her eternal father but toward her earthly father. But her heart was tightly wound. This is where she really began to live out her faith. As a woman who has been forgiven much, she was given the chance to forgive much. But forgiveness didn’t make the hurt go away.

God created us uniquely as part of his design. We have desires for good healthy relationships but there is tension between what we feel longings for and the struggles we have harbored in this life against relationships. Yet, we still have hope in an eternal father who is here for us! Listen today as Araceli shares her heartbreak and the beginning of her journey toward healing.
