A Small Intentional Space For Women Leaders to Come and Be Renewed
I Was Looking for This, Too. Ten years into ministry, I started searching for a conference or retreat where I could actually get away. I didn't want to spend three days rushing from session to session, taking notes, networking, and coming home with another list of things to do. I wanted to slow down. I wanted to breathe. I wanted to spend time with God. So I attended a few retreats. And honestly? Each time, I came home more bogged down than when I left. Two years later, I was burned out. I had reached a place where I physically couldn't keep doing the ministry I loved, and I had to step away. But God met me there. As I continued to pray and ask Him what was next, He began stirring something in my heart: If I couldn't find the kind of retreat I was longing for, maybe I was supposed to create it. And that's how Rest Retreat was born. Not out of a business plan. Out of a need. A need I had experienced myself—and a desire to create a space where other women could come away, lay down the weight they've been carrying, and simply be with Jesus.

So, What Exactly Is a Rest Retreat?
Well, Homegirl… it's pretty simple.
You come.
You breathe.
You rest.
You meet with Jesus.
Rest Retreat is intentionally different from a typical conference.
There isn't a packed schedule with back-to-back speakers and somewhere you have to be every hour.
Instead, we create space for you to slow down and hear from the Lord.
There is worship.
There is time in the Word.
There is quiet.
There is meaningful conversation.
There are beautiful meals prepared by a chef.
There is laughter.
There is hospitality.
And there is plenty of room to simply be.
You don't have to perform.
You don't have to lead.
You don't have to take care of everybody else.
For a little while, you get to receive.
Because sometimes the woman who is always pouring out needs a place where someone else pours into her.
