E27: The Father Effect: A New Family - Ketzali Sanchez

SDL Podcast - Episode Artwork - Header.jpg

We all have a deep-rooted desire to be part of a family. Ketzali Sanchez unravels her story of being grafted into God’s family. After losing a relationship with her father due to addiction, she shares the hope she found in a God that sees her and loves her.

Growing up, the gospel was not central for Ketzali. The love of God was difficult to grasp because the love of her earthly father carried little weight.  As she grew and matured and changed in Christ, her hard heart began to soften. She began to meet God-honoring father figures who pointed her to Christ, who taught her that God came to redeem and bring her into a new family.

As she began to become more involved in ministry, she felt the importance of forgiveness and looking ahead in hope. Ketzali handles the hurt of fatherlessness and the questions and decisions that ensue.
